TOOLS OF THE TRADE
This Tools of the Trade lecture and hands-on workshop will continue to build your knowledge of advanced therapeutic principles, philosophy and techniques to complement your existing healing practice. You will learn new modalities of movement, alignment, stretching, adjustments and breathwork using koʻokoʻo (staff), pohaku (stone), wai/kai (water), and haʻupuʻupu. If youʻre interested in learning, are a practitioner or professional therapist this workshop is for you.
Class Requirements: Please bring your own tools. Hardwood staff (min. 6 ft. in length). Round stone (min. 10 lbs.). One small to medium sized, smooth river stone. Hawaiian salt. Spring water. Two pareos. Wooden\ bowl or calabash. If there is enough people enrolled we will do a pre-workshop to make or acquire your own suite of tools.
